6 February 2015 - The Arbitrators' Initiative: When, Why and How Should It Be Used?, Geneva

The 2015 ASA Annual Conference will explore the manner in which members of the arbitral tribunal may exercise initiative, including its legal foundation and limits of the arbitrators' initiative, the way it may be used to shape procedure, its use in fact-finding, understanding and deciding the law, and how it may be employed in settlement facilitation.
