ASA Board Elects Executive Committee

07.05.2014 - The ASA Board has elected its Executive Committee, the last formal stage in the establishment of its new governance structure that went into effect on 1 January 2014.

 

Joining President Elliott Geisinger (Schellenberg Wittmer, Geneva) and Vice-Presidents Bernhard Meyer (MME Partners, Zurich) and Bernhard Berger (Kellerhals, Bern) are Domitille Baizeau, partner at LALIVE in Geneva, and Felix Dasser, partner at Homburger in Zurich. Domitille Baizeau has long been active in ASA matters, including as former co-chair of ASA Below 40, and more recently as member of the ASA Marketing Committee. Professor Felix Dasser is the current chair of ASA's Zurich local group and head of Homburger's dispute resolution practice and is also teaching international dispute resolution at the University of Zurich.

The members of the Executive Committee oversee ASA's work in numerous areas, and each have specific responsibilities for designated activity areas. Global projects are looked after by the President, who also shares responsibility with Bernhard Berger for relations with authorities and academia. Bernhard Meyer is responsible for regional initiatives as well as various online projects. Domitille Baizeau will look after relations with other arbitration thought-centres and arbitral institutions, while Felix Dasser has oversight on ASA's marketing activities generally.
